I've closed enough windows to know you can never look back [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: B8B8B8; border: #336677 solid 4px; width: 450px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] lily n. evans -- 16 -- gryffindor -- prefect
Lily is a kind, Gryffindor, 6th year. She's intelligent and a bit of a bookworm. Lily was born to muggle parents who couldn't be happier about their daughter being a witch. Her family isn't perfect, however. She has a sister that she'd love nothing more than to be close to again, but Petunia doesn't seem to want the same things. Her high points are being kind and willing to help, but she can be stubborn and a bit too serious.
F R I E N D S : She's a popular girl, and she's a Prefect. If nothing else she'll have a lot of acquaintances. She has a small goal to loosen up a little bit, but she hasn't been able to do that. She can most often be found studying somewhere - common room, library, the courtyard... She's a friendly person who tries to see the good in everyone. That doesn't mean she can't hold a grudge, however.
E N E M I E S : Lily is an opinionated young woman and a muggle-born, so she'll probably have at least a few enemies. Added to her list of current enemies is Severus Snape, though she wouldn't go as far to actually call him her enemy. Last year he called her a mudblood, and she's holding a grudge over it. Her not-so friendly side isn't shown to a whole lot of people, but it's not a side you want to be on. She can have a bit of a temper, but there are some things that you can get over, and some things you can't. She doesn't have any ill feelings toward Slytherin house, just some of the people who want to go through with that whole pure-blood or no blood thing.
R O M A N C E : So far, Lily hasn't had a lot of experience in this area. Admittedly, she's got some standards. She doesn't want to be with anyone who is too immature, which is why she has turned James Potter down, though he will eventually be her final. I'm open to her having one or two past relationships, but she wouldn't have been very into them and they probably didn't last very long. I'm also open to her having some romance before she starts seeing James or starting her relationship with him earlier if we get one, but we'll plot that if/when the situation comes up.
O T H E R S : Anything from people she admires, to family (that probably won't be here really), to professors. Lily will probably have some sort of connections to professors since she's a bright witch and all that goody-two-shoes stuff.

marlene & lily I think Marlene and Lily could be really good friends/dorm mates. Marlene is studious too, you can say she's a little obsessed over achieving good grades since she wants to compete with her sister all the time. She's really quiet most of the time, so she might just get along with almost anyone who preferred being around quiet people.

LILY AND MARLENE; I think they could be great friends. It seems like eventually Lily was close with the Mckinnons because she cries when she found out they died. They'd share a dorm probably too since they're the same year and same house (and same gender).

ophelia & lily
[/b][/font] i'm thinking these could be really great friends. both of them appear to be quite shy, and friendly, happy people, and i believe they could have hit it off straight away in their first year! because lily is a muggleborn, i imagine she would have had no idea about the selwyn family and it's dark past, so ophelia would have felt comfortable befriending her, and i imagine they'd be there for each other during tougher times. acacia & lily[/b][/font] these two could get on fairly well, however cia is also opinionated and strong, and i believe they may have their issues from time to time, and argue them out before remaining on friendly terms. cia's a year younger, but she basically talks to anyone and she's the seeker on the team so lily would know of her at least![/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/blockquote]

LILY AND OPHELIAActually, Lily isn't shy. In the books she's described as being popular, friendly, and kind-hearted. Her constant studying might make her appear shy, but she's not afraid to walk up to someone and say hi. Keep in mind that she was also best friends with Severus Snape through most of her school career, so I'm not sure she wouldn't have uncovered little snippets about Ophilia and her family. Nonetheless, Lily's known for trying to see the good in everyone, so I think she'd quickly get passed the history and they'd still be able to hit it off.
LILY AND ACACIALily might be opinionated and have strong morals, but again, she likes to see the good in people. She's a prefect too so I'm sure she'd run into Acacia from time to time, even if she isn't entirely concerned with Quidditch. I think they'd get along alright.

Ella & Lily I think Ella would probably like Lily quite a bit, and they're in the same house and year. She would probably have a certain admiration for her in the way that she tries to see good in everybody, and for managing to be so diligent with studies. Ella's kind of loud and just sort of does what she wants, but she's much smarter and more aware of what's going on around her than she lets on. And of course she'd be more than happy to help Lily loosen up a bit and have fun.

james and lily
[/b][/font] so james has been swearing up, down, left, right, and center that one day he was going to marry lily. and he was right, as eventually they do get together and have baby harry. but we still have a while for that. in the past years, james would have made lily's life a living hell; by playing pranks on her and snape and just pestering her for hanging out with a slytherin. then of course, he started asking her out on dates every other day. this year, james will have cut back on the date asking - if he askes at all (though he may in front of his friends to save face). and if he speaks with her, he'll try and keep it polite and to the point.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/blockquote]

LILY AND ELLAI can see Lily being friends with Ella, and maybe getting frustrated that she doesn't apply herself. She'll probably insist that Ella could do better if she just tried. It would be really funny for Ella to try and get Lily to loosen up. She won't be making it easy. She's had it in her head for so long that she needs to always do the responsible thing and make sure people are doing what they're supposed to and yadda, yadda. She won't be loosening up much, but I think it will be funny for her to try.
JAMES AND LILY Lily has come to expect that every time she sees Potter he'll ask her out, so his stopping that would probably elicit several emotions in her from relief, to confusion, to suspicion and everything in between, which will be absolutely hilarious. She would definitely notice that he isn't always so immature, and I think she'd be conflicted by it, and then wonder if he actually even likes her anymore – and then she wouldn't know how she'd feel about that.

Lily and Ella It's not so much laziness or being unwilling to learn, she just doesn't like people setting up too many expectations and standards for her and then be horribly disappointed when she doesn't fall through with them so she gives people as little ground to do so as possible, and she's not fond of the concept of perfection (mommy issues). But she'll probably take getting Lily to have fun as charity work of sorts and will probably take Lily wanting to get her to apply herself as charity work of sorts, even if she'll carp and fake cry about it a lot.

LILY && ANDROMEDA
Okay, you may have to bear with me on this because I am writing this on my work break at like one in the morning, haha. Anyway, I kind of want to suggest an eventual unlikely friendship or at least acquaintances on good terms for these two. They are both in the same year and they are also prefects, so I feel like they would run into each other here and there. I think that Lily, being able to see the good in everyone, would possibly be able to see through the mask that Andromeda uses to present herself to the world. We know that Andromeda doesn’t share the same views as her family from what she ends up doing with her life, but at the moment she herself hasn’t really come to terms with it yet or hasn’t realized. I’m not saying they would hit it off right away, it would probably just kind of happen overtime. Of course, feel free to change this anyway/suggest anything/ or even come up with something else entire. I’m pretty much open for anything.
