[atrb=width,440][atrb=border,0,true] about celeste is thirty-two years old, undeniably female, and an alumna of beauxbatons in france. she teaches astronomy at hogwarts now, and has been for the past seven or so years, so there's also that. other than having adoptive parents living in france, celeste has no relatives to speak of. personality-wise, celeste might not be the most agreeable person. she does whatever she wants whenever she wants to, so if you're a stickler for law and order ... well, oops. she's free-spirited and incredibly independent, but not a bad person. (usually.) friends I'd assume most of celeste's friends would be other people like her; she's very open and affectionate to most people, but her sense of humor is usually at the expense of others. she's always up for dancing or partying or pranks, but she probably won't contact you again. celeste, being a fundamentally selfish creature, always has her own interests before the well-being of others -- so if it benefits her to ignore you, don't expect a call back. if you can put up with her strangely capricious personality, however, she's generally a fun person to be around. unfortunately, however, she does not make many, if any, close friends -- getting past the realm of 'buddy' into the world of legit 'friendship' is difficult. she will certainly listen to your secrets, but secrets of her own she tends to keep close to her (small, shriveled) heart. enemies celeste's enemies ... are actually rather numerous. she doesn't exactly keep track of how many people hate her guts, but she guesses it's some number way up there. the problem with celeste is that she's unpredictable -- she might punch your face one day and be all over it the next or vice versa. thus, all of her ex-lov ers (... of which there are kind of a lot) tend to kind of hate her. she also has this nasty habit of being incredibly flashy and over-the-top. among the people who don't like her are usually the more level-headed people. celeste's thirty-two, and she should be more mature, but the woman usually doesn't bother. oh, and there's no filter between her mind and her mouth, so if she thinks your smell is revolting, bet everything you have that's the first thing she's going to point out. lovers ... welp. celeste has some serious commitment issues. her view of the world is pretty much every man (or woman) for him (or her) self. celeste absolutely despises children, which is why she really doesn't like to teach first- or second-years, and it also probably stems from the fact that she can't have any children. she's all for one-night stands, but she hates being tied down -- and, well, having a single romantic partner is being tied down. she secretly hopes to fall in love one day, but so far she hasn't had any feelings for any other person, male or female. (celeste doesn't exactly discriminate based on gender.) love plots I think would be interesting, but it would take quite a bit of work to have her admit anything close to something more than a physical attraction to someone else.

celeste would probably one of olivia's favorite professors at hogwarts. the fact that her sense of humor is at other people's expense is surely something liv would appreciate, and seeing as their both pretty selfish i think liv would think of celeste as the "cool" teacher if you will xP

and celeste would definitely think of olivia as the 'cool' student. as long as there isn't anything that hurts other people (because she still has to keep her job!) celeste definitely wouldn't mind helping olivia out, or at least turning a blind eye haha. celeste would probably consider olivia an acquaintance, at least -- not friends, per se, but I'm sure they'd have some good conversations outside of the classroom or whatnot. c:

alright so here he is my adult character, sorry i changed his face claim again! x) anyways so this is riley and his back story is similar to charlie, he's hell bent on his suicide mission to voldemort. he works in dervish & banges so i think he and celeste would have some interaction there on hogsmeade visits. in terms of friendships he is very protective over his friends and usually very outgoing, but lately he has been rather withdrawn and such. for lovers he is extremely passionate, pretty much the opposite of celeste lol so maybe there could be a romantic conflict there of some kind ? i don't know at this point i'm just throwing ideas around heh take a look at his plot page for more personality info if you like but we simply must plot so we can rp together again <3 maybe we could even just throw them together in a thread and see where it goes who knows!

noah is a certifiable genius, and a sixth year ravenclaw, but he's basically a bit of a bad boy, just in the senses that he's confident, overly arrogant, popular and can be pretty cruel and mean. i imagine celeste as being a professor he respects, for some reason, and he'd probably be on his best behaviour around her, and she could bring out the best in him in classes, and encourage his love and good grades in astronomy!
