ophelia selwyn
ophelia is very much the black sheep of her family, and always has been. the selwyn's are deeply rooted in the dark arts and purist beliefs, yet ophelia (phelia or effie, if you'd like) doesn't share these ideas at all. however, she's forced to keep up appearances to an extent, rather than bring shame upon her family. some would say that it's too late for that, as she has been sorted into hufflepuff. constantly teased and taunted by her siblings and other students who think she's strange because she's a hufflepuff and redheaded selwyn, ophelia just lets most insults go straight over her head now, because she hates confrontation and arguments. if pushed, she will stand up for herself, but will become upset about whatever it is someone is saying to her. typically, ophelia is a happy and hard-working hufflepuff, fairly intelligent, and always looking for something fun to do amongst friends. she isn't the smartest of people when it comes to common sense, and can be somewhat naive, but she's had to at least pretend to have a thick skin over the years, despite the insecurities she is riddled with due to her family and other bullies. ophelia has a lot of energy within her, and mostly just walks on by if someone says anything awful. she's a bubbly girl, and pretty adventurous, and usually tries to befriend most people, even if it's naive of her to do so.
FRIENDS; ophelia would probably have a lot of these, as she's a fun-loving girl, and quite adventurous for a hufflepuff. people who have stuck by her throughout her years at hogwarts, despite her family. other hufflepuffsalthough ophelia is the only one right now would fit in here, as would some gryffindors, i think! any less judgemental slytherins might be friendly of her, and some people could possibly become her friend to use her for her family perhaps!
ENEMIES; ophelia isn't the type to just go and make enemies, but some people will hate her just for being her. slytherins who think she's an embarrassment to her family, or people who just want to taunt her. there could be some people who think, despite her being a hufflepuff, she's still a selwyn through and through and they could dislike her for that. ophelia is sensitive but mostly lets everything go over her head, not liking to argue, and not being very good at it. but, if pushed, she'll break eventually- whether that's into shouting or tears, only time will tell!
LOVERS: ophelia isn't the type to sleep around, and i can only see her having one serious ex at the most. she's not particularly flirtatious, not really knowing how to be 'sexy' or 'hot' and she's usually completely oblivious when someone likes her. it could be good to have her crush on someone, and someone crush on her even, and there's room for an ex or two. her naivety makes her vulnerable to people using her, so that could come into play here. i'd love a future relationship, and i'm sure we could work out an awesome plot so!

acacia slade
acacia is muggleborn, and has one elder brother who is also a wizard. as a result, she's only been a part of the magical world for the last four years or so, and she's still not totally educated on everything about it. as a rule, she's an incredibly feisty sort of girl, and will always stand up for herself, especially against those who would want to torment her for being a 'mudblood'. she can be hot tempered, but most of the time she's a cheerful, excitable girl, who just likes to have fun. she isn't really the studious type, and would much rather go off on some adventure, rather than sit down and do some work. she isn't dull though, and her grades are above average, mostly because she wishes to keep her role as seeker on the gryffindor quidditch team. she's mostly a friendly sort of girl, despite being strong and able to stand up against people when they try and put her down, and she's always willing to talk to others and try to help them out. potions has always been her best subject, and it's the only one she really tries in- everything else matters little to her.
FRIENDS; acacia would probably have a ton of these. she's a friendly enough girl, and people will probably like her most of the time. she'd probably need a tutor or two in her subjects. obviously quidditch team-mates are welcome here too! i don't believe there are any other fifth years on the site as of yet, and so she would branch out to befriend elder students. they may know her through her brother, who i'll request soon. she needs a best friend, though!

if one was asked to describe noah ashford in just a few years, this is what they would have said a few months ago; popular, confident, a little arrogant and a certifiable genius. whilst most of this is still true, it's too a much lesser extent- except the genius part. noah has grown up with a lot of expectations upon his shoulders, considering he was tested for his genius abilities from a young age, and is definitely one of the most intelligent kids in the sixth year, and probably the whole school. he's a popular lad, although he can be a little cocky- or rather, he could be. his mother passed away a month or so ago, and so now noah is withdrawn and a lot less confident, although he's basically still got the popularity going for him. he's a nice enough kid if you get to know him, although that'll be harder to do right now. he's been known to use girls, though. but he's always been brought up in the correct way, and even if he's totally cruel to you, he'll go about it with a touch of class and dignity. as a child growing up, he was incredibly spoiled, and he has quite a manipulative edge to him, able to persuade people easily. he's not totally bad though, and is a loyal friend to those who need him, and an adventurous sort.
FRIENDS; he would have tons, although some of them would probably be fake and just using him for status or something. intelligent people are a must here, as noah would have a hard time remaining polite to those who are dull or lack common sense. he's confident enough to talk to people, but he really needs his closest friends right now who can help him be himself again and stop hiding away. people he tutors are welcome here, too! anything really.

elijah is probably one of the nicest guys you'll meet. he's extremely family orientated and looking forward to having a family of his own one day, and he's a relatively responsible and sensible guy. not to say he doesn't have fun, though- he's a good guy to hang out with if you're friends, and he's got a good sense of humour on him. he's smart, and is aspiring to become a healer after his youngest sister got critically ill over the last summer, and it's something he's really set his heart on and so his education is pretty important to him right now. elijah is typically just a good guy. he's polite and charming and sweet, and always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. although he doesn't really like to fight, he'll stand up for himself and others and detests bullying, so he wouldn't be against duelling if it came down to it. he's a metamorphagus as well as magical, and his eyes typically change colour with his moods, which can be quite disconcerting.
FRIENDS; he's going to have quite a few! he needs some bro's, but mostly elijah is just a laidback, confident guy, who's really easy to get along with. it's not difficult to befriend him, and he'll make the first move a lot of the time anyway. friends of his are friends for life, and he's a very loyal person- and ever so protective of the people he cares about the most. if you come under here, he'll look out for you no matter what.
