GREENGRASS full name: anastasia blaire greengrass canon or orginial: canon age: sixteen year: sixth house: ravenclaw blood: pure wand: eleven inches, unicorn hair, willow patronus: beagle boggart: even though ana isn't close to her family, her greatest fear is still losing them. erised: to become a nurse at st. mungo's and to be accepted by her family for who she is. birth place: london, england ------------------------------------------------- growing up in a proper pureblooded family, most would not expect anastasia to become the person she is today. her family is of true blood supremacists, wanting nothing but the worst for anyone who is not a pureblooded witch or wizard. anastasia's family was the type to hold dinner parties, attend them and do whatever else rich people do. ana herself didn't mind them, but she wasn't as big-headed about their wealth as they were or her siblings were. she only enjoyed getting to know people and not going to lie, she enjoyed dressing up as well. however, ana didn't really believe that those who were halfblooded or muggleborn, were any less than herself. she's actually a really good person. but let's start from the beginning and how she got here. okay, so, ana grew up in london, england with her parents and her two siblings. her sister being older and her brother being younger. as a child, ana lived by the rules and did whatever her parents asked of her. she was the trophy child. she loved her siblings and got a long fairly well with them. when she received her letter of acceptance from hogwarts, it was no surprise. however, she was excited about it and ready to head to school to learn more about the world she grew up in. upon arrival to hogwarts, she was sorted into ravenclaw much to her parents dismay. ravenclaw wasn't completely horrible, but it wasn't anywhere near slytherin, which both of her parents and her sister was in. even her brother got sorted into slytherin when he arrived the next year. to be honest, ana's first two years at hogwarts was hell. at first, she didn't realize what it was. she acted like she had her whole life. she put people down who weren't worth her time. she shunned those of lesser blood. everything her parents taught her, she did. then it clicked. the way she treated people was not helping her in the long run. she was making barely any friends. especially in the house she was in, it was unacceptable to most. so, she decided she was going to try to change her ways, and change she did. at the beginning of her third year, she started reaching a hand out to people and getting to know them before judging them. it didn't take long before the apologies started coming and she was making amends with those she had hurt. she was making way more friends than she had been before and she liked it, a lot. When her parents found out about her change of heart, they were furious. many fights resulted between them and even her siblings. as she grew closer to other people, specifically muggleborns and halfbloods, she drifted further from her own family. now, ana is in her sixth year at hogwarts and she's pretty much loving it, aside from the fact her family practically hates her. she still has enemies, as most do, and she's still shunned by some who only believe her change is an act, but she's getting along with a lot more people. she's found a love for helping others and doing what she needs to do to make good grades and get to where she wants in life. she has already decided that when she graduates, she wants to become a nurse at st. mungo's. she's ready to make up for all the people she hurt, but healing those that need it the most. she has changed drastically, and while it pushed away her family, she doesn't regret it. |

The library was starting to feel quite claustrophobic at that time. There were hardly any students in there, but for Ana, being inside for too long made her her restless. The library was one of her favorite places, filled with various books to read and be used to learn something new, but being outdoors was where she felt the most peace. There might be a lot more students outside and of course, where there are students, there is noise, but she loved it. She could handle the noise if it meant she could be outside doing her own thing. The open space and the wind when it decided to blow gently. Even just sitting beneath a tree, made reading a lot more enjoyable. Not that she didn't find it fun in the first place. It was one of her most loved pastimes. Reading gave her the chance to use her imagination and daydream about lands that didn't exist and things that probably wouldn't happen in real life. However, it wouldn't be surprising if something in those books could really happen, especially the most fictional stories, because never in a million years would she have believed in witchcraft and wizardry if it wasn't for her Hogwarts acceptance letter that arrived on her eleventh birthday.
Standing from the table she was seated at, Anastasia collected the four books she had with her. One, she had been actually reading, while the other three were a mix of books to read and books for classes. With all books in one arm, she pushed in her chair with her free hand and then turned for the door. On her way out, she used her free hand to once again pick up the book she was reading and opened it to continue on while the other three remained in her arm. The book was really good and she couldn't wait until she got outside to continue it, so she decided to walk and read at the same time. The book was set back in the medieval period and at the point she was at, there were two young people that were just forced to meet by their parents, who hoped they would be together because of status. The man was a depressed young man, while the young woman was a lively girl who seemed to be very optimistic and accepting of him, even if she hated the very idea of meeting him against her will. Anastasia knew already that the two would fall in love. It was predictable, but she loved to read about the journey to the romance. She was quite the hopeless romantic at times, especially when it came to stories. If she could have a story like that, she would be completely happy, despite the drama that went along with it. Still, books like the one she was currently reading, tended to be her favorite kind and some of the most heartfelt.
However, reading while walking through the halls probably wasn't the smartest idea. She was completely wrapped up in her book, leaving her oblivious to her surroundings. Rounding the corner, she hadn't seen the student walking around the same corner when she ran into him pretty hard, dropping all of her books with the contact. Trying to grab for her falling books, she tripped forward and into him once again. "I'm so sorry," She said, backing away from him a bit, forgetting about her books on the floor. Her once lightly pink cheeks were now a dark red. Could it get any more awkward?
