LINCOLN full name: riley aaron lincoln canon or orginial: original age: thirty alumni: salem's institute (USA) job: ex-hit wizard, works at dervish & banges blood: muggle-born wand: 14 in., unicorn hair, rosewood patronus: zebra boggart: death erised: himself killing lord voldemort birth place: brooklyn, USA ------------------------------------------------- riley lincoln was born in the US of A in a very rough area of brooklyn, new york. he was born to muggle parents were completely surprised when their son was accepted at salem's institute. riley loved the time he spent at salem's and once he was in his third year he found out his sister was also a witch! he couldn't be more thrilled. while at salem's riley had always been very protective of his little sister. he made sure no one ever messed with her or they had riley to answer to. riley got into a bit of trouble at salem's because he wasn't really used to how wizards fought; through duels using magic. riley had grown up in brooklyn where he had gotten used to pummelling people in order to defend himself. he took this skill with him to salem's which made him really stand out as a muggle born wizard, but riley didn't mind since the people he physically hurt never bothered him again. in and around his fifth year at salem's, riley decided he would focus his attention on his studies, the best he could, for he wasn't necessarily the top of his class, because he realized he wanted to become a hit wizard for the ministry of magic. to him it was a very appealing sort of thing to chase around dark wizards for the ministry. it was the kind of adventurous life style he was looking for. so when riley graduated he moved from new york to england to become a hit wizard in training. he found that he had particular skill for the job and was grateful to have found a job he was so passionate about. tragedy struck in riley's life when he was twenty eight years of age. his parents and sister came to visit him in london. his sister had become a professor at salem's institute and his parents were both retired from their jobs as a mechanic and nurse. while they were all staying in a muggle hotel in london, voldemort and murderous band of death eaters raided the muggle hotel and killed everyone in sight, including riley's parents and sister. riley didn't find out about it until the next morning when he went to pick them up and saw the gruesome scene of the three of them dead. this moment changed riley's life forever. while on the job as a hit-wizard, riley became untrustworthy and unpredictable. instead of doing what was morally right; to send criminals to trial of the wizengamot, riley took it upon himself to ruthlessly murder them. he was on a rampage. he came to work drunk and violent and eventually his superiors told him he had one last chance to clean up his act. in response: riley quit. riley began dedicating the rest of his life to his wizarding skills and fighting abilities. he was hell bent too avenge the death of his parents and young sister. he decided that he would not rest until he, himself, killed voldemort. now, obviously he is not going to be successful in this mission, but hopefully it won't claim his life. in the mean time, riley has taken up a job at dervish & banges where he repairs magical equipment. he just bides his time there in order to make enough of a living to support himself so that he can survive. the rest of the time he's been working on his legilimency skills which he uses to acquire information about where he can find the death eaters. riley is a broken soul, way to emotionally involved in his cause to find voldemort and it could end up getting him killed.
